Chapter one:

New beginnings. They always say when you write, to write what you know, so today I take assessment of what I know. Which is funny because I feel like the older I get the more I realize how little I know .

Nevertheless I do know grief, show production, creative arts, non-profit foundation , grant writing, music, dance, books, theatre, writing, advocacy, counseling, behavioral health, community speaking, teaching, organization.

Where do I begin?

There is also the skills of relaxing, talking on the phone and infamous bed rotting. When you are shifting in retirement it is hard to know when to change out of your pajamas.

Of course true to my nature I have several ideas and the first step is to organize. Everyone who knows me well knows before creating starts my environment must be ready.

So here is to the last few days of shifting , organizational readiness and the opening of a heck of a lot of creative energy.
